KLIA ranks 7th in best airport survey - Bernama

The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has been named the seventh best airport in Agoda.com's best airports customer survey.
KLIA scored 3.56 over 5, trailing behind heavyweights such as Singapore's Changi International Airport (4.37), which grabbed the best airport title and Hong Kong International Airport (4.13) is at the second spot.
KLIA, which handled 40 million passengers last year, is noted for its distance from the city it serves about 50Km away. The airport is also one of the largest airports in terms of area used, Agoda said in a statement today.
Rounding out the top three is Seoul's Incheon International Airport (4.01), Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (4.0) and Suvarnabhumi Airport (3.79) at the fourth and fifth spot, respectively, while Tokyo's Narita International Airport at sixth place.
Customers-cum-travellers were asked to rate 15 airports in Asia including Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Phnom Penh and Taipei on a onee (poor) to five (excellent) scale.
The rankings were based on more than 11,000 respondents.
