KAPIT: Bank Rakyat is now offering easy personal loans with monthly repayments from as low as RM30.
Bank Rakyat Kapit manager Sarif Kadri said the payments for the
personal loans, which are open to the public, depend on the loan amount
and duration of payment.
“Previously, we only offered personal loans to civil servants and
employees of statutory bodies. Now we open to all including members of
the public. By doing so, we try our best to cater to the needs of all in
the community. Those interested or wanting to know more about personal
loans are advised to approach the branch during office hours for
detailed information,” he said during the Bank Rakyat Kapit’s Aidilfitri
gathering yesterday.
He added that Bank Rakyat also offers a high interest rate for fixed deposits of 4.6 per cent per annum.
Bank Rakyat has over 140 branches throughout the country.
The Kapit branch began operations in August 2011.
Several hundred guests attended the open house including Kapit Deputy Resident (Social Development) Mohamad Ikhmal Abdullah.
