Teoh, via his Facebook account, is alleged to have insulted Muslims in his comment which questions the decision by the PAS-led Kedah government regarding guidelines for performances for the state's Chinese New Year celebrations.
Seniman president Zed Zaidi had earlier told Sinar Harian that he strongly condemned Teoh’s actions, who used vulgarities as well as used religious sentiments.

Zed also urged other quarters who are displeased with Teoh's actions to lodge a police report.

Seniman, via its Twitter account today, officially announced that a police report was made yesterday.

Apart from Pertubuhan Kebajikan E-panco president Datuk Paduka Arifin Abu Bakar, several Seniman members also accompanied Zed in lodging the report at the Taman Melawati police station.

"Teoh is also a Seniman member. We will discuss the appropriate punishment for him soon," said Zed.
